Fallin' for Minis — In the Leaves

There’s something magical about a miniature mule who has found the perfect spot — nestled into a bed of oversized, colorful autumn leaves, completely unbothered by the world. In the Leaves captures that moment in rich, luminous detail. The second photo is the real thing: Sandy, Patricia’s own mini mule, caught taking a well-earned rest — the inspiration behind every line of this drawing.

The artwork was hand-drawn by Patricia (Trish) Mayer using Faber-Castell and Caran d’Ache colored pencils on smooth white paper, a technique chosen specifically to bring out the full vibrancy of every leaf and every whisker in the print. No AI. No shortcuts. Just art made with love for the equestrian community.

Washing Instructions
